Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.
• Golf profile (optional): handicap, height, dominant hand, home course, country and preferred units, if you enter them in Settings. Height is used to scale distance and speed estimates.
• Your swing videos: clips you upload are stored in your private library so you can review and compare them later.
• Analysis results: the measurements, ball tracks, scores, coaching notes and practice plans generated from your swings.
• Payments: if you buy Pro or a Deep Dive, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive a customer ID, what you bought and its status. We never see or store your card number.
• Email signups: if you leave your email in a signup form on the site, we store it to send you what you asked for.
• Usage and security data: basic records of actions such as analyses run, used for free-tier limits and to stop abuse. IP addresses are stored only as a salted, one-way hash, never in raw form.

How the analysis works

The swing analysis itself (pose tracking, ball tracking and phase detection) runs in your own browser, on your device. Your video does not need to be sent to a server for the engine to work. Clips are uploaded to your private library so you can keep them, and you can delete any of them at any time.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your swing videos to advertise to you.

• To run your account, store your swings and show you your results and progress.
• To process payments and give you the features you paid for.
• To enforce plan limits and protect the service from abuse.
• To send emails you asked for, such as sign-in links, receipts, or tips you signed up for. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the product is used so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run SwingFix, each acting on our behalf:

• Supabase: account sign-in, database and file storage for your swings.
• Vercel: hosting for the website and app.
• Stripe: payment processing.
• Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Shared swing links

Swings are private by default. If you turn on sharing for a swing, anyone with that link can see its poster frame, score and measurements. The source video itself is not exposed on shared pages. You can turn sharing off at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data and swings for as long as your account exists. Deleting a swing removes it from your library and storage. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, swings and analysis data, except for records we must keep for tax or accounting reasons (such as payment records held by Stripe).

Your choices and rights

• View and edit your profile in Settings.
• Delete individual swings from your library at any time.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing swingfixai@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
• Cancel Pro at any time from the billing page.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to make checkout work. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

SwingFix is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell signed-in users when the change affects them.
